Complete Full Rounds Before Switching. Scale the contents of your rounds to that there are no big rest periods as you do your rope climb, box jump, row…. IE – Perhaps do Rope climb x 1, Box jump over x 6, Row x 8/5.. with intensity so you can cycle through with buddies at a good clip…
1.) No-No November starts on Thursday, Nov 1st. On a piece of paper write down your specific No-No for November along with your first name, last name, punishment for if you break (you have to do this punishment every time you break, how about you just don’t break?) and a reward for when you make it the full 30 days of No-No-ing The intent is that you gain awareness of how good you can feel without certain things you know are bad for you. Build will power. Build self control…. then continue to keep those things out of your day. The No-No board is at the back of the gym. Get on it!
2.) A preview of monthly themes coming up….
- December: Down and Up Dec -> 10 Pushups a day, every day, for the month. WHAT????
- January: Journal Jan -> Keep a food journal every day for the month. HUH?????
3.) Starting Mon, November 5th until Dec 29th we’re doing Coach’s Week of WOD’s where your Coaches at Streets will take over the WOD’s.. DJ, LV, Bren, Chris, LT, Dan, Ginette and Laura. We’ll be returning to regular programming in the New Year as we get ready for The Open : ) All the WOD’s will still be posted in Sugar WOD so you can track your progress.
4.) SUNDAY OPEN GYM starts Sunday, Nov 18th and will be from 11am – 1pm sharp. Respect the coaches time and get out of there before or at 1pm so we can close up and enjoy our Sunday as well. No loitering. If you need help with what to do for Open Gym then please contact a coach. We will help you.
